Course Description

The Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship MSc is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals looking to drive innovation within dynamic business environments. This postgraduate programme offers a structured journey through the process of starting and developing a business, blending strategic thinking with practical application. Students will explore business strategy, financial management, and opportunity identification, while gaining proficiency in digital tools and AI for business analysis. The course is available as a 1-year full-time programme or a 2-year part-time option. A professional placement year is available for those on the 24-month programme, providing 12 months of hands-on experience in an organisational context. Throughout the course, students engage in workshops, mentorship, and live projects, often collaborating with students from other faculties such as engineering. This programme equips graduates with the entrepreneurial mindset and leadership skills necessary to launch new ventures or lead innovation in existing organisations, supported by the institution's dedicated Enterprise Development Hub and Careers and Futures service.

Tuition Fee Details

Full-time UK students: £13,300. Part-time UK students: £88 per credit, or £44 per dissertation credit. Placement year: £3,000. Tuition fees are subject to annual review and the institution reserves the right to increase fees each academic year by no more than the level of inflation.
