Course Description

The Interactive Experience Design MA at Middlesex University London is designed for aspiring creatives who wish to build immersive, ethical, and data-informed interactive worlds. This programme merges storytelling, design, and technology, preparing students for dynamic roles in games, XR, and installation design. Students will benefit from practice-based learning within state-of-the-art facilities at MDX Studios, including games labs and motion capture technology. The course is available as a one-year full-time programme, a two-year part-time option, or a one-year full-time course with an additional 12-month placement. Through embedded work experience modules and professional mentoring, students gain essential industry exposure. Whether focusing on real-time engines, AI-driven systems, or spatial storytelling, this degree equips students with the technical expertise and entrepreneurial mindset needed to thrive in the global creative technology sector. Tuition Fee Details

Full-time UK students: £13,700. Part-time UK students: £90 per credit or £45 per dissertation credit. The university reserves the right to increase postgraduate tuition fees in line with changes to legislation, regulation and any government guidance or decisions. The tuition fees for part-time UK study are subject to annual review and the institution reserves the right to increase the fees each academic year by no more than the level of inflation.
