Course Description

The Graphic Design and Creative AI MA is a forward-looking postgraduate programme designed for creatives who wish to combine traditional design practice with the innovative potential of artificial intelligence. This course is ideal for those looking to integrate generative and assistive AI tools into professional workflows to enhance, rather than replace, human creativity. Students will explore critical themes such as sustainability, authorship, and the cultural impact of AI to develop a responsible, planet-centred design mindset. The programme is available as a one-year full-time course, a two-year part-time option, or a one-year full-time course with an additional 12-month placement. Based at the Hendon campus in London, students will join an interdisciplinary community at MDX Studios, gaining hands-on experience through live briefs and industry collaborations. Graduates will leave with a distinctive portfolio that showcases professional leadership and innovation in the evolving design landscape. The institution provides extensive support through its Careers and Futures service to help students achieve their professional goals.
