Course Description

This one-year top-up course is designed for students who have already completed a foundation degree or equivalent and wish to advance their expertise in information technology and business information systems. The programme provides a comprehensive understanding of how IT solutions can be strategically aligned with organisational goals to improve business processes. Students will explore the social, legal, and ethical implications of technology while developing practical skills in project management, data analytics, and user experience design. The curriculum includes an individual project, allowing students to apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios under the guidance of expert supervisors. Available in both full-time and part-time modes, this course prepares students for diverse career paths in the IT sector, including systems development, project management, and business analysis. Tuition Fee Details

For the 2026/27 academic year, the full-time UK tuition fee is £9,790. Part-time UK study is £81 per taught credit. International full-time fees are £17,200, with part-time study at £144 per taught credit. The university reserves the right to increase undergraduate tuition fees in line with changes to legislation, regulation and any government guidance or decisions. Tuition fees for part-time UK study are subject to annual review and the institution reserves the right to increase the fees each academic year by no more than the level of inflation.
