Course Description

The Interior Design BA Honours at Middlesex University London is designed for creative individuals passionate about transforming spaces. This course focuses on developing both creative and practical skills to prepare students for a rewarding career in the contemporary design industry. Students will explore commercial interiors, retail, hospitality, and exhibition design, while considering sustainability, financial viability, and the designer's responsibility to future generations. The curriculum is delivered through a mix of supervised studio time, tutorials, and practical workshops, ensuring students gain hands-on experience in a professional-style environment. The course is available as a three-year full-time programme, with an optional four-year route that includes a one-year paid professional placement. This placement offers invaluable industry experience and leads to an additional Advanced Diploma in Professional Practice. With access to cutting-edge facilities, including 3D workshops and digital media suites, students are supported in developing their unique design voice. Tuition Fee Details

For the 2026/27 academic year, the full-time UK tuition fee is £9,790. Part-time study is £81 per taught credit for UK students. International fees are £17,200 for full-time and £143 per taught credit for part-time. The institution reserves the right to increase undergraduate tuition fees in line with changes to legislation, regulation and any government guidance or decisions. Tuition fees for part-time UK study are subject to annual review and the institution reserves the right to increase the fees each academic year by no more than the level of inflation.
