Course Description

This BA Honours course is designed for aspiring creatives looking to master the latest 3D animation technology for the booming games and film industries. Students will develop essential skills in 3D asset creation, hand-keyed animation, motion capture, and visual effects using industry-standard software. The curriculum is highly practical, featuring a studio-based learning environment where students work on real-world production processes and collaborative projects. Whether you are interested in character art, environment design, or virtual production, this course provides the technical expertise and creative freedom to build a standout professional showreel. The programme is available as a 3-year full-time course or a 5-year part-time route. For those who do not meet the direct entry requirements, the institution offers a Foundation Year in Arts and Creative Industries to help prepare for the full degree. Tuition Fee Details

For the 2026/27 academic year, the annual tuition fee for UK full-time students is £9,790. Part-time study is charged at £81 per taught credit. Tuition fees for subsequent years may be subject to inflationary increases by the UK government. The university reserves the right to increase undergraduate tuition fees in line with changes to legislation, regulation and any government guidance or decisions.
