Course Description

The BA Digital Design (Degree Apprenticeship) is a professional programme designed for individuals in full-time employment who wish to develop their skills while working. This three-year, full-time course offers a unique blend of work-integrated learning, allowing apprentices to apply academic concepts directly to their professional roles. Apprentices will explore creative processes, digital design tools, user-centred design, branding, and data visualisation. The curriculum is delivered through a mix of workshops and online learning, supported by workplace mentors. As an integrated degree apprenticeship, the final assessment is embedded within the programme, comprising a work-based project and a panel interview. This course is ideal for those looking to become confident Digital Design Professionals, providing the opportunity to build a professional portfolio while earning a salary. By combining academic rigour with practical industry experience, the programme prepares apprentices to excel in various creative sectors, including finance, retail, technology, and government departments. Please note that this programme is not available to international students.

Tuition Fee Details

There is no cost to do a higher or degree apprenticeship for the apprentice. Fees are paid by the apprentice employer, drawn from the apprenticeship levy or via co-investment arrangements.
