Course Description

This PGCE course is designed for aspiring teachers who wish to specialise in educating seven to 11-year-olds. By combining academic study with hands-on experience, the institution prepares you to teach with confidence in primary schools. You will benefit from a powerful partnership of diverse schools, undertaking two significant school placements of 11 and 13 weeks. This practical approach is ideal for those who want to teach in urban, multicultural environments. Throughout the course, you will explore pedagogical techniques, teaching strategies, and the fundamentals of how children learn. You will also engage in collaborative projects and weekly reflections to deepen your understanding of the primary teacher's role.
