Course Description

This accelerated two-year master's degree is designed for graduates with a science-based undergraduate degree who are passionate about supporting people of all ages to improve their health and wellbeing. As a student on this course, you will gain the professional knowledge, clinical skills, and values required to practise as a physiotherapist. The curriculum is developed in collaboration with experienced practice-based partners, ensuring your training reflects current health and social care priorities. You will benefit from a blended learning approach, combining in-person and online teaching with high-fidelity patient simulation in the institution's state-of-the-art Science Centre. A key component of the course is compulsory practice-based learning, where you will gain hands-on experience across diverse settings, including NHS hospitals, community services, and private healthcare providers. This course prepares you to work flexibly within multidisciplinary teams, enabling patients to recover from injury, disease, and the impact of ageing. Upon successful completion, you will be eligible to register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and become a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.

Tuition Fee Details

The tuition fee for UK home students is £9,790 per year. Tuition fees for subsequent years may be subject to inflationary increases by the UK government.
