Course Description

The LLB (Hons) Law programme gives students a comprehensive understanding of the legal system, including criminal, constitutional, contract, tort and property law. It develops critical thinking, analytical ability, legal research, writing, mooting and advocacy skills. Students take part in discussions, case studies and practical exercises to strengthen problem solving and ethical decision making.

Tuition Fee Details

The UK home full-time tuition fee is £9,790. Fees are paid to Bath Spa University. Fees may increase in line with government guidance or inflationary measures, with changes communicated in advance. Students can expect to spend £60 on reference materials per year. There is 1 mandatory court trip in Central London, so minimal travel costs may apply.

UK qualifications

3 A Levels with grades BBC, equivalent to 112 UCAS tariff points.

BTEC Extended Diploma with grades Distinction Merit.

International Baccalaureate Diploma with an overall score of 32.

T Level with an overall Merit grade.

Access to HE Diploma 60 credits, with 45 at Level 3 at Merit or above.

ATHE Level 3 diploma with 120 credits.

Qualify Level 3 diploma with 120 credits.

Completion of a relevant foundation year programme in a recognised institution with 120 credits.

Other qualifications

Other qualifications are accepted and assessed by the Admissions Team for UK equivalency. All qualifications must have been achieved within no more than five years of the course commencement date.

English Language Requirements


GCSE

GCSE English Language grade 4/C or above.

IELTS

IELTS 6.0 overall, with no less than 5.5 in each component.

Other

Level 2 Functional Skills Qualification in English. Duolingo English Test: 105 overall, with no less than 95 in each component. William College Internal English Assessment.
