Course Description

This four-year degree course is designed for students who wish to study sport and exercise science but do not currently meet the entry requirements for the standard three-year programme. The integrated foundation year (Year 0) provides an essential grounding in scientific and study skills, preparing you for the rigour of undergraduate study. You will explore core areas including physiology, anatomy, metabolism, biomechanics, sports psychology, and sociology. The course is available on a full-time basis, with part-time options also available. Throughout your studies, you will benefit from academic mentorship and support services, ensuring you are well-equipped to succeed. Upon successful completion of the foundation year, you will progress to the same content and module choices as the standard BSc (Hons) degree.
