Course Description

This four-year degree course includes a built-in foundation year, providing an alternative route into higher education if you do not meet the entry requirements for the standard three-year undergraduate degree. You will graduate with the same full undergraduate degree title and award as those who studied the three-year course. The foundation year allows you to explore your specific practice and develop essential skills in creative technologies and digital media. You will work on practical projects, build a portfolio, and study alongside students from various disciplines within the School of Computing and Digital Media. Throughout the degree, you will focus on music and audio production, developing your skills in studio engineering, songwriting, and sound design. Taught by industry practitioners with experience in music, film, and media, the course equips you with the critical thinking and technical expertise required to produce work to professional standards. The course is available for full-time and part-time study.
