Course Description

This degree is designed for students who want to gain a critical understanding of the role media plays in social, economic, political and cultural life. Taught by world-leading researchers, the course combines media production and media analysis, allowing you to explore the relationship between media and culture, identity, lifestyle and globalisation. You will study a wide range of formats, including television, film, the internet, the press, popular music and social media, while having the opportunity to develop your own practical skills in photography, filmmaking and audio production. The course is available as a three-year full-time programme or a four-year part-time route. Throughout your studies, you will benefit from regular lectures and presentations by industry experts, as well as educational visits to institutions such as the London Film Festival. Tuition Fee Details

The tuition fee for UK home students is £9,790 per year for full-time study. Part-time study is charged at £2,445 per 30 credit module. Tuition fees for subsequent years may be subject to inflationary increases by the UK government.
