Course Description

This four-year degree course includes an intensive foundation year (Year 0) designed to provide you with the essential skills and scientific knowledge required for your subsequent three years of study. It is the perfect route into university if you do not hold traditional qualifications or cannot meet the necessary requirements for the standard three-year degree. Throughout the programme, you will explore how lifestyle, diet and physical activity contribute to health and wellbeing. You will benefit from one-on-one support from academic mentors and tutors, and have access to specialist workshops to help you succeed. Upon completion of the foundation year, you will join students on the traditional three-year course, studying the same content and modules. You will graduate with the same academic title and award as those who entered the standard degree. The course is available on a full-time basis, with part-time options also available for UK students. This programme prepares you for a career in nutrition within public or private sectors.
