Course Description

The Games Animation, Modelling and Effects BSc (Hons) is an innovative degree designed to provide you with the creative and technical skills essential for a career in the games industry. This course is for aspiring artists who wish to master computer graphics, including modelling, rigging, animation, texturing, lighting, and visual effects (VFX). You will benefit from a curriculum developed in collaboration with industry professionals and the games industry body, TIGA. Throughout your studies, you will engage in collaborative projects with games programming students, mirroring real-world industry workflows. You will also have opportunities to build your professional portfolio through internships and projects with external clients. The course is available as a three-year full-time programme, with part-time study options also available. By the end of the degree, you will be well-prepared for various creative roles, such as concept artist, character builder, animator, or VFX artist, equipped with both the practical expertise and the analytical skills required to succeed in this rapidly evolving sector.

Tuition Fee Details

The tuition fee for UK home students is £9,790 per year for full-time study. Tuition fees for subsequent years may be subject to inflationary increases by the UK government.
