Course Description

This four-year degree is designed for students who wish to enter higher education but may not meet the traditional entry requirements for a standard undergraduate course. The programme includes a dedicated foundation year (Year 0) that builds essential skills in cyber security, programming, mathematics, and communication, preparing you for the subsequent three years of study. You will be taught within the institution's Cyber Security Research Centre, providing access to industry partners and live projects. The course is accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS), ensuring that the curriculum meets high professional standards. Throughout the degree, you will gain practical experience in digital crime detection, hardware and software protection, and network security. The course is available on a full-time basis, with part-time options also offered.
