Course Description

This four-year degree course is designed for students who wish to pursue a career in banking and finance but do not currently meet the entry requirements for a standard undergraduate degree. The programme begins with an intensive foundation year (Year 0), which provides a supportive introduction to higher education, helping students build essential academic, research, and business skills. Following the foundation year, students progress to the same curriculum as the three-year degree, exploring topics such as accounting, economics, investment theory, law, and management. The course is developed with input from industry experts and provides access to the institution's Bloomberg Room, allowing students to work with real-world economic data and analytics. Available in full-time and part-time modes, this degree offers a pathway to develop the professional expertise needed for the financial services sector. Graduates earn the same full undergraduate degree as those on the traditional three-year route, well-prepared for a variety of roles in the banking and finance industry.
