Course Description

This four-year degree course is designed for students who are returning to education, feeling unsure about their next steps, or who do not meet the entry requirements for direct entry onto an undergraduate programme. The course includes an intensive foundation year (Year 0) which provides a supportive and engaging start to your academic journey, helping you develop the essential study, research, and communication skills needed for success at university level. After completing the foundation year, you will join students on the standard three-year undergraduate programme, studying the same content and graduating with the same qualification. The curriculum is constantly evolving to address contemporary issues in the tourism and travel sector, including crisis management and sustainable business practices. You will benefit from close links with the Tourism Management Institute (TMI) and have access to a wide range of support services, including careers advice and pastoral care. This course is available for full-time and part-time study, offering flexibility to suit your personal circumstances.
