Course Description

This four-year degree is the ideal choice if you are interested in studying music business at an undergraduate level but do not meet the traditional entry requirements. The course includes a built-in foundation year (Year 0), which provides a general introduction to business and is shared with other business-related foundation courses. Following this, you will progress to specialise in music business during Years 1, 2 and 3. The curriculum covers every aspect of the industry, from digital streaming and artist management to merchandising and innovative events operations. You will be taught by industry experts and gain hands-on experience in digital strategies, business models and digital royalties. The course is available for both full-time and part-time study. Upon graduation, you will receive the same degree title and award as students on the traditional three-year programme, ensuring you are well-prepared for a professional career in the music and entertainment sectors.
