Course Description

This Interior Design and Decoration degree is designed for students who wish to explore their creative potential and establish a unique design voice. The course includes an intensive foundation year, providing an alternative route into higher education for those who may not meet the requirements for the standard three-year programme. During the foundation year, students are immersed in an academic environment, working alongside undergraduates to develop essential skills in drawing, 3D composition, and workshop techniques. Following this preparatory year, students progress to the three-year bachelor’s degree, where they focus on the discipline of interior design and decoration, exploring projects across private, commercial, and community interiors. The curriculum emphasises sustainable and environmental design, preparing students for professional practice. Available as a full-time four-year course, it offers a supportive environment with access to expert tutors, industry-standard facilities, and opportunities to engage with the wider creative community at the institution. Graduates emerge as specialists, equipped with the portfolio and practical experience needed to succeed in the competitive creative sector.
