Course Description

This four-year degree with an in-built foundation year is designed for students who wish to explore a range of artistic directions before specialising in fine art. It is an ideal route if you do not currently meet the requirements for a three-year undergraduate degree. During the foundation year, you will engage in intensive studio workshops covering drawing, painting, conceptual modelling, and performance, helping you establish your own artistic style. Following this, you will progress to the same modules as the three-year Fine Art BA (Hons) degree. You will benefit from expert artists-in-residence, regular field trips to major European art events, and opportunities to exhibit your work in professional settings. The course is available for full-time study, with part-time options also offered. By the end of the programme, you will have developed the technical skills, critical awareness, and professional confidence needed to pursue a career in the creative industries.

Tuition Fee Details

The tuition fee for UK home students is £9,790 per year. Tuition fees for subsequent years may be subject to inflationary increases by the UK government.
