Course Description

This course is an ideal choice for students who are passionate about photography but may not meet the entry requirements for a standard three-year degree, or who wish to refine their creative skills before embarking on more rigorous study. The foundation year provides a supportive environment where students from various art and design disciplines share a curriculum, allowing for a broad exploration of creative practices including drawing, conceptual modelling, and curating. Upon successful completion of the foundation year, students progress into the three-year Fashion Photography degree, where they join Year 1 students. The course is highly practical, offering access to industry-standard facilities such as photographic studios, darkrooms, and digital processing suites. Students are encouraged to develop their own creative direction and build a high-quality portfolio. The institution's film and photography courses are highly regarded, and graduates leave with the skills and professional understanding necessary to pursue diverse careers in the creative sector.
