Course Description

This four-year degree course is designed for students who are passionate about the fashion industry and want to develop a unique, complementary skill set in both marketing and journalism. The programme includes an intensive foundation year (Year 0), which is an ideal route if you do not meet the entry requirements for the standard three-year degree. During this year, you will build your academic confidence, research skills, and critical thinking abilities, preparing you for successful undergraduate study. You will study alongside students from other disciplines, broadening your perspective before focusing on your chosen field. In the subsequent three years, you will gain an in-depth understanding of fashion brands, target audiences, and market positioning, while also mastering journalistic techniques such as pitching stories and writing for media outlets. Taught by industry experts, you will gain practical experience through work placements and collaborative projects, ensuring you graduate with the skills and industry contacts needed to stand out in a competitive job market.
