Course Description

The Digital Media (including foundation year) BA (Hons) degree is an ideal choice for students who wish to study at undergraduate level but do not meet the standard entry requirements for a three-year course. This four-year programme includes a built-in foundation year (Year 0) designed to equip students with fundamental study skills within the context of digital media and communications. Upon successful completion of the foundation year, students progress to the final three years of the degree, graduating with the same award and title as those on the standard course. The curriculum is practically oriented, focusing on essential functions such as marketing, design, and production. Students benefit from exceptional support, including workshops to improve academic and career skills, and opportunities to engage in extracurricular activities. The course provides a supportive environment to help students settle into university life, think independently, and develop the technical and analytical skills necessary for a successful career in the digital media sector.
