Course Description

This four-year degree course is designed for students who wish to pursue a career in the creative industries but do not currently meet the entry requirements for a standard three-year undergraduate programme. The course begins with an intensive foundation year (Year 0), which provides a supportive environment to develop the essential academic, critical, and creative skills needed for higher education. You will share this year with students from other disciplines, fostering a collaborative network. Upon successful completion of the foundation year, you will progress to the three-year BA (Hons) degree, graduating with the same qualification as those on the standard route. Throughout the programme, you will explore literary history, develop your own creative writing style, and engage with professional publishing practices. The course is available for full-time study, with part-time options also offered. You will benefit from workshops, seminars, and tutorials, as well as access to London's rich cultural resources, including the British Library, theatres, and galleries, ensuring you are well-prepared for your future career.
