Course Description

This four-year degree course is designed for students who wish to pursue a career in business and law but may lack traditional entry qualifications. The programme begins with an intensive foundation year (Year 0), which focuses on developing essential academic, digital, and study skills, alongside exploring social science themes to prepare you for the subsequent three years of undergraduate study. During the foundation year, you will benefit from sessions with tutors from your chosen degree, ensuring a smooth transition into the main programme. Following the foundation year, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of business management, including marketing, strategy, and consultancy, alongside key legal areas such as company law, employment law, and consumer rights. You will learn from industry experts and have access to extra-curricular opportunities, such as the Mansfield Student Law Society. This course is ideal for those returning to education or seeking additional preparation to reach their full potential in a professional business and legal environment.
