Course Description

This four-year degree is designed for students who wish to pursue a career in business management and marketing but do not meet the standard entry requirements for a three-year undergraduate programme. The course includes an integrated foundation year (Year 0) that provides a supportive academic environment to build essential study skills, confidence, and subject knowledge before progressing to the main degree. Throughout the programme, students explore core business functions, marketing principles, and contemporary issues in the global economy. The curriculum is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and emphasises practical application, preparing students for professional roles. Available on a full-time or part-time basis, the course offers a flexible route into higher education. Students benefit from a multidisciplinary approach, including themes such as social justice and inequality, while developing critical thinking and communication skills. Upon successful completion of the foundation year, students progress directly to the three-year programme, gaining the expertise needed for a successful career in business or as a professional marketer.
